In recent years information and communication technologies are increasingly affecting teaching and learning methods, influence not only the curriculum bet the whole educational process as well. ICT penetrates to education and learning environment as one of its most important elements, which helps to increase the effectiveness of education, use the latest resources in educational process to help to develop new variety of information and means of communication that makes it easy to develop critical thinking skills, integrate various fields topics, apply active methods, highlight and develop individual child’s abilities, train to work independently and in groups, to assess and evaluate himself. Modern teaching and learning must be organized according students’ teaching and learning needs and style, broaden their view, increase motivation and goals, be clear and precise, directed to a specific purpose and contact. Information technology helps to achieve new goals of education, but so far there is lack of specific teaching technique, examples of good experience and recommendations how to solve integrated teaching problems.
The program aims to provide teachers with knowledge and skills on how to apply innovative teaching and learning methods and tools based on information and communication technologies (ICT) in everyday teaching; Deepen their knowledge and skills to identify the need of innovative ICT based methods, integrate them into the curriculum, plan the lessons and independent work of the students.
The program is for teachers, who are interested in innovations and achievements of educology, creatively use colleagues’ good experience.
The aim of the program is to develop and deepen teachers’ professional and general competencies, which will allow them to use ICT based tools improving the content and forms of the lesson.
